Nadia Vaeh is a Los Angeles, USA-based singer songwriter who has just come to my attention thanks to her new track about fake friends. It’s called Friends U Couldn’t Keep.

Two years in the making, Friends U Couldn’t Keep is a simmering and intimate track with an authentic sense of emotion. Its sense of frustration burns through even though the instrumentals are kept soft in the first verse. Things finally boil over in the chorus which is explosively cinematic.
Nadia is a native of Atlanta and has previously won the IMA “Vox Pop” Award. She describes her genre as “brat-pop-rock” and devotes much of her creativity to raising awareness of the importance of mental health after tragically losing her mother to suicide.
Friends U Couldn’t Keep was written by Nadia Vaeh and Dion Shaw. It was produced by Tyler Spratt and Nadia Vaeh. Tyler also did the mixing and mastering. You can give it a listen below.
