Hailing from New York City, USA, Blair Wxtch is a singer songwriter who has just hit my radar thanks to her new track and video. Exploring the euphoric emotions of new love, it’s called Light Me Up.

As you might guess from her stage name, Blair Wxtch is heavily influenced by the world of cinema when it comes to her music. But she’s also a big fan of poetry, and in particular, the works of Allen Ginsberg. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Blair Wxtch has recently signed to Brooklyn-based indie label Glass Bullet Sound Company.

Light Me Up is a vibrant synth pop track. There’s a compelling sense of the romantic about it, both in its lyrics and its soft composition. It’s the vocals that really steal the show, though. Gentle and charismatic, they’ll have you falling in love a little bit. The track was produced by Butterfly Haus and you can watch its video below.
