Britta raci is a Los Angeles, USA-based artist who has just come to my attention thanks to her new track that takes on the most uncomfortable part of a breakup. It’s called embarrassing.
By Graeme Smith
It’s a tale often told in modern pop music. You break up and the one who dumps you happily moves on with their life leaving you wondering why on earth you didn’t see it coming. Britta makes the story her own, though, giving it an edge that cuts close to the bone against a backdrop of devastating indie rock. Her expressive vocals take centre stage, given plenty of room by the track’s intimate instrumentals.
Britta recorded embarrassing in her home studio with the help of her producer Joel Ferber. You can check out the track below.
