New Music: TRUMMERKIND – Killing Stalking

Exeter-based rock band TRUMMERKIND have featured a couple of times on this blog before, starting back in March this year with a share of their track Superstar. We followed that up with a post about their pleasingly dark effort Beauty Queen. Now it’s time to share another one of theirs. With an edge of horror, it’s perfect for the coming season. It’s called Killing Stalking.

By Graeme Smith

Killing Stalking is inspired by the Manga series of the same name. The track has a suitably eerie start, with the ambient sound of sirens before heavy, moody riffs come in alongside a captivating guitar melody. It’s all so beautifully atmospheric before creepy, characterful vocals come in and seal the deal.

TRUMMERKIND are vocalist and bassist Rowen Silvester, their father Robert Silvester on drums, and Oli Sturdy on guitar. Killing Stalking was recorded in Oli’s attic studio in Exeter, then remixed and remastered by Duncan Chave. You can give it a listen below.
