Nauria is a Dublin, Ireland-based alternative RnB artist who has featured once before on this blog, but not since 2021 when I discovered her music through her experimental track Instinct. Now I’m pleased to welcome her back to our pages with a new track that marries themes of innocent crushes and social media. It’s called Known Your Name.

Known Your Name is a track that strikes you with its honesty. Nauria confesses to her tendency to become jealous of her crushes, misreading things she sees about them online. The depth of its story is nicely brought to life through its groovy and emotional instrumental arrangement and Nauria’s captivating vocals. There are some wonderful shades of light and dark in its composition that perfectly reflects the theme of innocent and fiery obsession.
