Molto morbidi is a Le Mans, France-based artist who has just caught my attention thanks to her first single from her debut album. Drawing inspiration from innovators like Kate Bush and Cate Le Bon, it’s called Sorry Silly Girl.

The solo project of frontwoman Swan Wisnia, molto morbidi combines elements of pop, rock, RnB and electronica to create something that feels wonderfully unconventional. Sorry Silly Girl starts with some pleasing yet challenging electronic layers before Swan’s expressive vocals come in. Its composition is as discombobulating as it is mesmerising, and I found myself excited by each of its unexpected twists.
Sorry Silly Girl was written and performed by Swan Wisnia and mixed by Alexis Fugain. Swan’s debut album is set for release in February next year via No Salad Records (Switzerland). You can check out the video for the single, by Jo Anatole, below.
