London-based pop singer songwriter first caught my attention thanks to her single corvette which I shared last month and was impressed by its intimate and complex nature. She’s now followed that up with a new dance track, inspired by the Netflix TV series Heartstopper. It’s called crisis.

With her new track, SAPPHIRE shows us her ability to make us dance and feel all at once. A bouncing beat kicks things off before her heart-rendering vocals come in. A striking first verse gives way to a catchy, anthemic chorus. It’s pop perfection and yet more evidence that SAPPHIRE is a name that should be on everyone’s lips.
Crisis was produced by Alex Stacey, and mixed and mastered by Alawn. Both corvette and crisis will feature on SAPPHIRE’s upcoming EP test drive. You can give her latest single a listen below.
