New Music: JW Paris – You’ve Got Me

London-based rock three-piece JW Paris first hit my radar in July this year when I ran the rule over their ’90s grunge and Britpop influenced track Leave It Alone. Now they’re back with a new one that simultaneously explores toxic personal relationships and the broader grip of social media algorithms. It’s called You’ve Got Me.

There’s really no escaping the digital world, and our relationships exist virtually as much as they do physically nowadays. This is what JW Paris explore with their latest, diving headfirst into the topic through moody, heavy instrumentals and soulful vocals. There’s something hypnotic about its composition, meaning you stay fully immersed as the track’s story unfolds.

JW Paris are Daniel Collins on vocals and guitar, Gemma Clark on drums and Aaron Forde. You’ve Got Me was recorded at Foel Studios and you can check it out below.
