I’ve already shared one Christmas song this week, so how about another one? This one comes courtesy of New York City, USA-based singer songwriter Magz. She’s already featured a couple of times on this blog this year, and her latest shows us a different side of the holidays. It’s called Alone For Christmas.

Christmas is sold to us as an occasion to be surrounded by family and friends, but life doesn’t always work out like that for us. Alone For Christmas encourages the listener to find solace in loneliness during the festive period, and does so through a bittersweet pop and RnB arrangement. As ever, Magz’s vocals are the stand out feature, stunningly charismatic and infinitely relatable.
