At the end of last month, I shared the track Hidden Wounds from Los Angeles, USA-based singer songwriter Eleanor Hammond. I enjoyed it so much, I thought it deserved another spin.

Hidden Wounds openly shares a story of secretly struggling with mental health issues, something to which a lot of us can probably relate (I know I can). It tells us that even if we think it, we are not truly alone, and Eleanor shows compassion through an intimate pop arrangement and her expressive vocals. As the track progresses, it grows, hitting a hopeful, groovy crescendo.

Eleanor has been performing music since the age of eleven and is currently hard at work on her debut album, set for release late next year. You can check out Hidden Wounds below.
