Echoviolet are a rock band based right here in Yorkshire who have just caught my attention thanks to their new track that’s all about taking back the power. It’s called Necromancy.

The track marks a new musical direction for the band and gives us a vibrant, punchy energy right from the off. This is a song for lovers of hard rock, with big riffs, urgent percussion and rumbling bass. The soaring vocals provide a nice sense of contrast, particularly during a smouldering verse. They deliver biting lyrics that will cower anyone who deserves it.

I love discovering exciting new bands and that goes double when they’re local. Echoviolet are definitely ones that I’ll be keeping an eye on.
