Making Headway (A Letter to Me) is the team up between Finnish producer Lnoer and Hungarian singer Nównøis. The latter has featured on this blog once before, in September thanks to her track and video Floating. Now the London-based producer and songwriter is back with some soul-stirring trip-hop.

Lnoer is best known for making instrumental music but occasionally does team ups to bring vocals to his compositions. For Making Headway, Nównøis provides the voice and lyrics that draw from a pivotal moment in her life, marking a mental descent. Lnoer’s arrangement brings the emotion of the story to life with vibrant percussion and dark electronica.

I’m so glad to have discovered Lnoer, and the more I hear of Nównøis, the more I dig her music. Making Headway is a match made in heaven and you can check it out for yourself below.
