Bristol-based singer songwriter Rosie Alexandra first hit our radar at the beginning of 2022, but we haven’t got around to sharing any of her music since then. That’s all about to change with the release of her latest single all about pursuing justice and honesty. It’s called How I Feel.

Rosie intends her latest track to be one of catharsis, one of standing up for herself and being an advocate. It’s a beautiful sentiment, even more beautifully articulated through her characteristically soulful vocals. Voices comes together in a stripped-back but powerful arrangement. The backing vocals were recorded in a 14th century church, giving the whole piece an ecclesiastical feel.

How I Feel was recorded in the countryside outside of Bath, and was produced remotely. It even includes a ‘virtual’ choir from across the UK. You can give it a listen below.
