Denver, USA-based pop duo Sugar Nova are no strangers to this blog. We’ve been sharing their music regularly since they hit our radar around this time last year. Most recently we featured the Chalk Dinosaur remix of their track Send Me Higher and now they’re back with another remix, this time courtesy of Melbourne, Australia-based producer LJ MASE. It’s called Finish What You Started.

We’ve covered Finish What You Started before on these pages as part of our review of Sugar Nova’s debut album Halogen. The LJ MASE remix takes it into a progressive melodic house direction. A gentle, piano-led intro gradually develops into a bouncy dance arrangement. All the while, lush and compelling vocals provide the human touch.

Sugar Nova are Luke Miller from the band Lotus and Rachel Eisenstat from Raven Jane, while LJ MASE is one of the rising producers on the Australian scene. Together they are making magic with this remix of Finish What You Started. You can give it a listen below.
