New York, USA-based singer songwriter Mae Krell has featured on this blog a few times before but it’s been awhile since we last shared some of her music. Her latest takes the form of an existential crisis that’s full of heartache. It’s called too hard.

In her latest track, Mae poses the question: “am I too hard to love?” So, as you can imagine, it’s something of a tear-jerker, told through a raw and intimate acoustic arrangement. Mae wrote the song as a form of catharsis when she came to realise that she was being too judgemental of herself during a song writing retreat.
The track will feature on Mae’s upcoming debut album (i think) i might be grown, set for release 19 April this year. You can give too hard a listen below.
