We’ve been covering local boys (and girl) Bull since pretty much our earliest days, and even had the pleasure of putting them on stage once, so it’s great to see how they are going from strength to strength in the underground rock scene. They’ve just announced the upcoming release of their second album Engines of Honey along with their latest single Red Rooves.
By Graeme Smith
Red Rooves was written about the Scarborough skyline as seen from guitarist and lead vocalist Tom Beer’s window. Mixing modern indie rock with ’80s power pop sentiments, it’s characteristically bright and upbeat for the band while also introducing some exciting new elements to the melting pot.
Engines of Honey is set for release on 1 March 2024 with a tour following to celebrate its release, including two shows here in York at The Crescent.
