Sofia Dragt is a Utrecht, Netherlands-based artist who has featured on this blog a few times before, going right back to 2021. Both myself and Jane have shared her music, and Jane’s even interviewed her, so I was excited to see she had a new single out.

I Live After I Died is a song that came to the surface from Sofia’s subconscious, and very quickly took form. As such, there’s a sense of intimacy about it. It’s a window into her world, her thoughts, and her reflections on personal development. Enhanced by a string quartet, there’s a profoundness about the track, and Sofia’s vocals strike right at the heart as always.

The track was recorded in Sofia’s studio in Utrecht where she also did the producing and mixing. Mastering was by Coenraad Dingemans. On violin, viola and cello is Xander Nichting. You can give I Live After I Died a listen below.
