Los Angeles, USA-based act Love Ghost has featured a few times before on this blog, having hit Jane’s radar last year as part of her Trapped round up.

Their latest track and video Time Travel see me sharing their music for the first time. I must admit, trap isn’t a sound that I’m usually into, but there’s something a little different about Love Ghost’s approach that drew me in. They have a way with words that set them apart from their contemporaries, with plenty of drama and imagery that paints a rich picture.

Combine that with a music video that features some of the most famous Japanese anime series out there, and I can’t help but be hooked.

Yung Dupe’s passionate, rapped verse seals the deal, and it’s all polished off nicely by producer Shantra.
