London-based rock band The New Nostalgia have been appearing on these pages since around this time last year, and most recently we shared their track and video A Fridge In Berlin.

Their latest single, COW SONG, shows us the surreal side of The New Nostalgia’s lyricism, with the band very much wanting to put something a little out there into the universe. The instrumental is beautifully psychedelic yet driving before characterful vocals come in. Things quickly build to a violent, crashing chorus that leaves it all out there.

The New Nostalgia are Patrick McCallion on vocals and guitar, James Sands on guitar, Sam Bramhall on bass, and Charles Adey on drums. COW SONG was recorded by Tom Roach at Coastal Sound Recording Studio, Liverpool.
