Chesterfield-based singer songwriter Blair Dunlop first hit our radar earlier this month thanks to his track and video I Wanna Be Running. Now he’s already back with a new one.

Let’s Get Out of the City is the second single release from Blair’s upcoming fifth album Out of the Rain, set to land in May. The album is a celebration of Spring and the concept of freedom, so both singles from it so far have reflected that with their brightness. With Blair’s latest we get a vibrant pop-rock arrangement, laidback vocals and a sense of the expansive. We Brits can often be disparaging of our country and its weather, but when we celebrate it, we do it in style. That’s exactly what you get from Let’s Get Out of the City.
Blair is going to be heading out on a UK tour in April, with stops in Cottingham on 13 April, Robins Hood’s Bay the next day, and Leeds on 28 April. If you fancy joining in on the celebration, you can get tickets for all his shows here.
