Ottawa, Canada-based indie pop duo Wotts have been featuring on these pages since 2022 and most recently we shared the title track of their EP PETALS.

They’ve followed up that EP release with a surprise single, there. It’s a Beatles-inspired track that shows us a different side of the Wotts sound. A piano-led ballad, producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Jayem has stripped things back, letting the song’s melody and lyrics speak for themselves. The result is something that feels invitingly vulnerable and more than a touch nostalgic.

Wotts are Jayem and bassist/guitarist Ricky 100. They’ve featured with some of Canada’s biggest tastemakers and are slowly building an international fanbase, ourselves included.
