Wibes are an American-Norwegian duo who have just burst onto my radar through their exciting new track uendelig flow.

“Uendelig” is a Norwegian word that translates in English as “unending” or “infinite” and the track shares a message of living life to its fullest. Though sung in Norwegian, the vibe of the track needs no translation. Playful vocal textures and licks of bass set the early tone before a catchy percussive groove kicks in. You can’t help but move along to its joyful experimental pop, right up to its pleasing conclusion.

Wibes are Hansine and Avery, a pair who met in 2022 on the way to a rave in Oslo and immediately hit it off. They’re promising us their first album later this year.
