New Music: Noam Williamson – Éphémère

Noam Williamson has quickly become one of my favourite neoclassical composers, with Éphémère being his latest release.

By Jane Howkins

Éphémère is a stunning piece of work – it sounds fairly simplistic at first, but give it a chance to settle in, and fans of the classical genre will soon find themselves loving this wondrous piece of music. It’s entirely piano-based, seeing Noam expertly handcraft some gorgeous melodies on the right hand, with the left hand creating a pretty backbone to the track. It all ends rather abruptly, leaving you long for more, long after the track has finished – find out for yourselves below!
