Oh Ryan are a Dublin, Ireland-based indie rock band who have just come to my attention thanks to their latest single release – the sweet and upbeat Tangerine.

Already making a name for themselves on their local scene thanks to their high-energy live shows, Oh Ryan are a band who simply demand further attention.

Their new single Tangerine is a breakup song, yet it comes at the topic with such a sunny disposition you’ll never feel happier to have your heart broken. Chanting vocals kick things off, interspersed with some punchy percussion and meandering electronica. Things then settle into a laidback groove that gives plenty of space to some charming vocals. Things build nicely to a chorus that will have you moving along with every note.

With a handful of singles under their belts now, Oh Ryan are marking themselves out as ones to watch on the indie pop and rock scene.
