I first discovered Belgian artist Isaac Roux at the end of last year – now he returns with The Right Place.
By Jane Howkins
The Right Place is an indie-folk song with a difference, as it’s also rather catchy at times, showing one artist who isn’t afraid to mix things up a little! The music sounds absolutely lush here, featuring some gorgeous acoustic guitar arpeggios as the main instrumentation, against the drums, bass and piano. It all sounds very dreamy, with some occasional electric guitar motifs thrown in for good measure, keeping your attention constantly raised. There’s a lot of heart here, particularly in the way Isaac sings – find out for yourselves below!
