More than just a song, Solid Revolver is a multi-media experience, combining architecture, costume, light, performance and music.

Broken Composers are a duo who have been performing together since 2017 and are driven by a desire to push boundaries and challenge preconceptions in the world of music.

The reason for combining artforms with their track Solid Revolver was to get audiences to think about their relationship with art and in the process become part of it. Unfortunately, we can’t all get the full experience of being there in the immersive performance, yet the track alone is enough to raise questions within us.

Opening with some echoing percussion, the track quickly creates atmosphere before growing into some severe electronica. Tentatively plucked strings come in, building in complexity while synths throb. We are always left guessing what will come next in a composition that’s unlike anything I’ve heard before.
