While Port Saint Sauveur struck me with its stripped-back and slow-building style, Lilia’s latest Besoin De Moi gets right into it. Her vocals deliver some rousing words from the first few bars and from there things develop into a lively and raw country pop arrangement that you can’t help but move along to. Put simply, it’s one of the best things I’ve heard so far this year.

Lilia is set to release her debut EP later this month on 21 June. Besoin De Moi is out now and you can check out its video below.
