Having recently debuted on these pages with her nostalgic anthem notice you, Myah is back with a love song that combines alternative punk and commercial pop.

Based in Florida, USA, Myah appreciates the irony of writing a love song called hurricane. “My friend told me I should write a song using the word ‘hurricane’ so I did,” she admits. An artist who doesn’t take herself too seriously, she’s injected it with a lot of fun, with puns in the lyrics, and a surprisingly laidback instrumental. I couldn’t help but move along with its groove while a smile slowly spread across my face. A catchy chorus will stick with you.
Myah is promising us her debut album this summer. Hurricane is out now and you can check it out below.
