Genre-defying duo Halo Rider release poetic new single Ghost Of A Radio

With a sound that ranges from acoustic folk to lively electric blues, Halo Rider are an act that makes their own rules. They feature on our page for the first time with single Ghost Of A Radio.

By Graeme Smith

Halo Ride are Markus James on vocals, guitar, percussion and banjo, and Anne Harris on vocals, violin, fiddle and mandolin. Based in California, and Chicago, USA respectively, both have distinguished solo careers in their own right. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with.

Their new single Ghost Of A Radio opens with some driving percussion and never lets up. Markus and Anne’s interplaying voices are captivating while they deliver gritty lyrics against a blues rock backdrop. It’s a track that makes you move as much as it makes you think, and mixes the familiar and unique expertly.

Ghost Of A Radio is out now and you can check it out below.
