Goldie’s music has been appearing on these pages since 2022, first with the infectious Mista Mystery and later through singles Sea of Love and Blind Eye.

Her new track Maybe This Is Why is a song about self-doubt and mental struggles, painting a picture of being lost in introspection in the big city. Yet there’s a brightness to it as well, and a resolve that everything happens for a reason.

A brooding first verse moves along slowly and thoughtfully before the track’s tempo slowly increases. When the chorus comes in, country meets disco in a groovy, unique moment that will have you moving along.
