Los Angeles’s viisi says so long to toxic love with new track and lyric video, everything but you.

Real name Matthew Borley, viisi is an alt pop artist from Canada now based in Los Angeles, USA. Making music inspired by ’90s hip-hop and Eminem, he’s currently signed to vnclm_ / Atlantic Records. He takes his performance name from the Finnish word for “five.”

His new single everything but you is about toxic love and how far it can reach into one’s life and memories. While the hip hop influences are certainly clear, there’s also a strong undercurrent of acoustic folk pop in a track that has many sides. A gentle opening verse gives way to a pacy, pleading chorus. It’s the perfect soundtrack for those with romantic regrets.
