Angel Murray debuts with diverse double-A side, Somewhere Else / Angels.
By Graeme Smith
Angel is a nineteen-year-old alternative pop artist based in London for fans of Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo. She’s appearing on our blog for the first thanks to her debut double-A side Somewhere Else / Angels.
The two tracks of Angel’s single show two different sides to her sound. Somewhere Else is a slow-burning and atmospheric number that explores modern norms in the context of social media while Angels is a more intimate affair. Speaking of craving someone else’s attention to the point of self-doubt, it brings a sultry groove and a sense of paranoia. Angel’s vocals are understatedly striking in both tracks. She’s truly one to keep an eye on.
Somewhere Else / Angels is out now and you can check it out below.
