Possimiste returns with unconventional pop track and video, Monster.

Based in Iceland, Possimiste is an experimental pop artist who plucks her ethereal tracks from other dimensions. She last featured on this blog in 2019 through her single and video Who Are We? It’s a song I still think of today, so was excited when a new one of hers came across my virtual desk.

Her new track and video Monster rewrites the script on how a pop song should sound. A lively but understated verse gives plenty of space to her unique vocals before things get wild in the chorus. It bounces along pleasingly while telling a relatable story with its lyrics.
