York Calling’s favourite transatlantic unicorn-based rock duo, I Am The Unicorn Head, return with something for everyone.

Music For Humans is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek effort from the duo who love to make things a little surreal. They really nail the landing of it though, giving us a bright and catchy instrumental, pairing it with amusing lyrics, and enhancing it all with a video that always keeps you guessing what will come next.

We’ve been fans of the band for awhile and it seems the enthusiasm is catching on. DJ Deb Grant recently played them on BBC 6 Music. If you’re just coming to them now, you’ll be pleased to know you can get hold of their album Future Dinosaurs on vinyl via the Krautpop! Bandcamp page. There’s also an acoustic album on the horizon from them.
