Liverpool’s Spouses cling onto the last of the season with romantic, lo-fi track Indian Summer.

Just as the days are growing shorter and colder, Spouses are here to save us with the bright and warm rock track, Indian Summer. Its lively and raw instrumental gets you moving right away while charismatic vocals paint a nostalgic picture full of imagery. The verse is capped beautifully through a soaring, anthemic chorus before horns stir the soul.

Spouses are led by Canada-born Joel Durksen who now called Merseyside his home. I’m certainly looking forward to hearing more from him. Indian Summer is the just the tonic for someone like me who isn’t quite ready for the onset of winter.
