Leeds’ Opheliah drop debut album and lead single

Leeds-based indie rock band Opheliah are back once again with new single Remembering Me and debut album.

By Graeme Smith

Opheliah’s debut album includes the two singles that we’ve previously shared on these pages, Don’t Stop Falling Apart and M&P. Remembering Me acts as its lead track. Speaking of making amends with the ones we care about, it opens stripped-back and acoustic before arriving at a bright and offbeat rock arrangement that’s full of soul. Its warmth and relatability means it acts as the perfect showcase for the band’s album.

With its recent successes, including Mercury prize winners English Teacher, Leeds is proving to have a formidable music scene. Opheliah is very much a part of that success.

Gone Long Enough is out now via Frictionless Music. You can listen to Remembering Me below.
