York Calling favourites Arliston unveil the opening track from their upcoming album, Disappointment Machine, complete with a video.

Arliston is one of those names that appear all over our pages, and we rarely miss a chance to share their new releases. The South London-based act have been gracing this blog since 2021.

While always pushing their sound in new directions, there is a distinctiveness to their music that means you instantly know you are listening to an Arliston track. Their new single What Did I Think Would Happen is no exception, bringing together storytelling lyrics, soulful vocals and lush instrumentals to tell an emotive tale of unrequited love.

The album, Disappointment Machine is set for release January 2025.
