KellyMarie kicks off our Christmas festivities with bright and upbeat anthem, Hey! A Child Is Born!

Every year, I have one simple rule: I won’t entertain Christmas songs until my birthday has come and gone. Now that it has, roll on the festive cheer!

The first holiday track of the season comes courtesy of Texas, USA-based folk pop artist, KellyMarie. She’s featured once before on this blog. In 2022, I shared her bright and dreamy single Exit 17.

Her festive single Hey! A Child Is Born! comes from a desire to create a fun-loving and whimsical Christmas anthem. It’s certainly one of the brightest and upbeat Christmas songs I’ve heard. It throws off the cliches of the season while not feeling out of place on your party playlist. KellyMarie’s vocals simply ooze with charisma and its chorus will have you moving.
