Katie Nicholas joins forces with Robert Vincent for visceral, heart-breaking folk duet, You Kill Me.

A Liverpool-based Americana singer songwriter, we last shared Katie’s music in 2023, running the rule over her track and video Sitting Ducks.

Her latest is a team up with Robert Vincent and brings us gentle, heart-breaking folk brimming with storytelling lyrics. There’s a visceral edge to it all that had me gripped, but that edge is smoothed nicely through Katie and Robert’s harmonious vocals. A pleading chorus is a stand out. It’s one of the best songs I’ve heard for awhile.

You Kill Me is self-produced by Katie and released on her own label, Ladybird Records. It features the talents of Anna Corcoran, Mark Lewis, C J Hillman, and more. The single is out now and you can give it a listen below.
