Dylan Cox celebrates the serendipity of love with new single, Surprise.

A Los Angeles, USA-based singer songwriter, Dylan has appeared on our blog twice before, but we haven’t shared any of his music since 2022. That’s all now changed thanks to his latest single, Surprise.

His new track is a love song about the “incredulous miracle of falling in and finding love,” as Dylan puts it. It’s a delicate, intimate number. An acoustic instrumental provides the atmosphere while Dylan’s expressive voice and poetic lyrics provide the emotion. A warm, soaring chorus proves memorable.

Surprise was made with Abe Rounds, drummer of Jon Batiste and Joni Mitchell, among others. It’s out now and you can give it a listen below.
