I Am The Unicorn Head brings the apocalypse to the holidays in their new track and video, The Last Christmas on Earth.

A British indie rock band, I Am The Unicorn Head have appeared on our blog many times before, going back to 2021. Most recently, I shared their psychedelic track and video, You Can’t Quiet The Unicorn.
Their latest turns their unique point of view on the holiday season, giving us an alternative Christmas anthem. The Last Christmas on Earth blends the holiday spirit with the apocalypse. This juxtaposition hits us right away in the video, as the familiar snowman from Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer‘s voice is replaced by a radio broadcast declaring the end of days.
Things stay surreal from there as passionate vocals deliver tongue-in-cheek despair against a backdrop of acoustic rock. You’ll never seen Christmas in the same way again.
