Signal Static try to find hope in the darkness with new single, Dark to Light.

Signal Static are an alternative punk rock band based on Vancouver Island, Canada consisting of Ryan Stringer on lead vocals and bass, Gino Klein on guitar and Randy Camponi on drums. Their music has been appearing on this blog since 2023, originally featuring as part of Jane’s Monthly Favourites round up. More recently, I shared their single Cancel Me.

Their latest single Dark to Light takes inspiration from the likes of Tool and Pendulum and looks at the darkness of humanity’s past and how we are pushing ourselves to our own destruction. Yet there’s a hopefulness to it to, encouraging us to fight for a brighter future. Rousing drums gets the track going before some urgent guitar comes in. Passionate vocals join the brigade before we get a powerful call to action chorus.
