The Hybrid Drummer relive the ’00s with their experimental electronic track and video, EH AH.
By Graeme Smith
A Budapest, Hungary-based duo, The Hybrid Drummer are an experimental act that use acoustic instruments to control electronic synthesizers and other digital elements. They’ve come to our attention for the first time thanks to their latest release, EH AH.
The track is the perfect introduction to their unique sound. It gives us groove aplenty while showing off their originality. Coupled with the storytelling video by Giuliano Salvatore, which draws on the aesthetic of the ’00s, we get a fully immersive experience that has us hungry for more. Fans of Daft Punk and Mr Oizo will certainly dig it.
EH AH is out now and you can watch its video below.
