Caitlin Mae comes to our attention through emotional Christmas single, 4000 Miles.

New to our blog, Caitlin is an artist based over in the US, but with a heritage that’s a little closer to home. Her new track, 4000 Miles, is about coming home at Christmas. The “4000 Miles” of the title refers to the distance from her Welsh roots and her family there.

It’s a deeply emotional track which pairs an acoustic folk pop instrumental with a compelling vocal. Caitlin’s voice is truly the star of the show as she delivers lyrics that are rich with narrative. I couldn’t help but be hooked on every word. A passionate crescendo is the icing on the cake.
