Our favourite French rockers Blue Coffee returns to our pages with jangly and emotional new track, Dive.

A Marseille, France-based rock band, Blue Coffee has featured on our blog a few times before. In 2022, they came to our attention through their melodic track Last Dance before we followed that up with a share of their video Dolphins in 2023. This year, we’ve run the rule over the philosophical Birth and the bittersweet Smile and Tears.

Their latest single Dive shows us the jangly rock side of their sound. It opens with an echoing guitar riff before understated drums come in. The vocals are wonderfully soulful during a delicate first verse before things build to its full arrangement during a powerful chorus. All the while, the emotion stays high and reaches a cathartic climax at the track’s crescendo.
