Real name Nick Anastasakis, The Afro Nick grew up on Crete, influenced early on by the local Romani people. He’s now based in the US and has come to our attention through a new mix of his track Get There Before Noon.

Get There Before Noon – LA mix is has a fresh sounding instrumental, combining classic rock elements with quirky electronica. Nick’s expressive vocal is the star of the show, perfectly capturing the emotion of the song’s lyrics which speak of making the most of life in the moment.

The original Get There Before Noon was recorded across New York City and this new mix was re-recorded and rearranged at Nick’s home studio in Los Angeles. The track features Grammy-winning synth player Leonardo Genovese and is out now. You can check out its video below.
