Leche. is the solo project of London-based Milan Tharmaratnam who has just come to my attention through his single It Rushes Through.

It Rushes Through is a track about the side of each of us that holds us back. Sonically, it’s influenced by Deerhunter’s 2008 album Microcastle and sees Milan give his own take on the laidback style. A dreaminess flows through the track with the vocals providing heart and soul against a soft rock backdrop. Just as you get the measure of it, you get a poetic, spoken word verse.

Leche. has an intoxicating sound to which I’ve quickly grown enamoured. I’m looking forward to hearing more from him.
