A London-based alternative pop artist, Ripsime has featured twice before on this blog, going back to 2023 when she hit our radar through her debut EP, Capsule I: Wicked & Wise. In 2024, we followed that up with a share of her single Paradise.

Her latest track Shamanic Faith is an emotional, electronic number in which her expressive vocals take centre stage. Its lyrics speak of anger and a yearning for tenderness as she channels her frustration at not being understood by those around her, as well as providing a wider critique of how others can handle those who have lost someone close to them. A punchy chorus is the highlight; it pushes boundaries beautifully.
