First hitting our radar in January 2025, Lincoln’s The Rotor Delta is returning to our blog with his latest single, Summer days are never the same.

The Rotor Delta is a project lead by singer songwriter Jimmy Green. He came to my attention through the classic folk inspired Howling at the Moon which I referred to as “timeless.”

His new single Summer days are never the same continues very much in the same vein, giving us a stripped-back arrangement that slowly builds. Storytelling lyrics tell a tale of lost nostalgia and bittersweet introspection before arriving at an emotional conclusion.

The track was recorded in the Blue Box Studio in Jimmy’s home in Lincoln. It’s out now and you can check out its video below.
