Mexican pop duo GOLDICAT first featured on this blog as part of Jane’s Female Voices round-up in October 2024. She called their single Show U More “one of the most unique songs I’ve heard in a long time.”

Now it’s my turn to share some of their music thanks to their latest single, Other Side. Opening with a punchy arrangement that combines ’70s disco with ’90s dance music and modern pop, it’s a track that instantly pulls you in. Characterful vocals tell its story while the groove never lets up.

GOLDICAT are Dr. Reanne Crane and Roberto Godinez, two musicians who met in Sayulita, Mexico and take inspiration from the likes of Crazy P and Depeche Mode.
